Relinquish your fails for art!
MOKA is a group of seven visual artists working in Tampere area. Members of the group are Senni Aleksandra, Timo Höyssä, Ilai Elias Lehto, Paananen&Ulvila, Sanna Saarreharju and Liisa Tarleena Öhman. The group, which has been working together since 2022, explores mistakes and failures from different perspectives, both as part of the artistic process and personal life.
We are now looking for stories about mistakes and failures for our 2026 exhibition MOKA-museum, which is a part of Art Realm ’26 biennale in Tampere! Tell us about your funny, embarrassing or otherwise memorable mistake, mishap or failure – it could end up being the inspiration for a work of art. If you wish, you can also give permission to use quotes from your story as part of the exhibition.
All stories are collected anonymously.

The Art Realm is envisaged as a continually evolving exploratory process grounded in a two-yearly exhibition cycle. Each biennial event will constitute its own experimental laboratory that will drive the ongoing development of new collaborative models and structures. We want to make space for new possibilities, for learning and for incompleteness.
