Guided tour from 1pm to 2 pm (in english)  

The first Art Realm ’24 Biennial, which occupies both exhibition buildings of the Hämeenlinna Art Museum, explores what the future Art Realm looks like through the eyes of artists. In the exhibition, the dialogue between nature and humans hears the voice of tomorrow. The futures offered by artists range from dystopia to hope. The works address, among other things, the relationship between humans and the environment, as well as the significance of art in the midst of crises shaking the planet. 

The works in the Lohrmann building dismantle, among other things, the changes brought about by environmental crises caused by humans, and reflect on the redistribution of power. Awakening to action for change is a theme in many works: the consumption feasts of natural resources have been celebrated, and it is time to act. The ensemble in the Engel building examines humans as part of nature and their similarity to other living beings. 

Guided tours are open to everyone.
The duration is approximately 60 minutes.
Tours are included in the admission ticket price. Tickets 12/10/0 €.
